They Will Respect My Son

Jesus uses the familiar image of the vineyard to show us the Father's care for our wellbeing, but also his desire that we bear fruit.  The vineyard is also entrusted to us to protect and nourish.  Today the Church celebrates Respect Life Sunday.  Each human person, made in God's image, is precious in His sight.  He entrusts them into our care with the same hope with which He sent His only begotten Son.
